Trader Joe’s
Trader Joe’s has become a staple in our house over the past few years. To be honest, the grocery store was overwhelming when I first started shopping there. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was SLAMMED with people. I kept apologizing for trying to find my groceries, who does that?! You HAVE to give it a chance, it’s 100% worth it! We realized shopping on a Wednesday evening or Tuesday morning was the way to go. Even getting there first thing on Saturday morning was better than a Saturday afternoon. There weren’t as many people and I could actually browse their selection. I’m always looking on Pinterest for quick, kid friendly dinner recipes, especially ones I can cook in under 15 minutes. It’s never easy cooking dinner with three kids but we’ve created a few recipes that make dinner a breeze with toddlers.

Specialty Items
Trader Joe’s is known for their unique food and seasonal items. We LOVEEE the crunchy cookie butter. If you know, you know. But that’s not what I’m here to share. I’m here to talk about the bruschetta sauce. It’s SO good. The sauce is made with Roma tomatoes, oil, basil and garlic. I’m telling you, you can’t go wrong no matter how you use it. You can find it in their refrigerated section with the hummus and other dips.
Bruschetta with Pasta
Our favorite way to use their bruschetta is over pasta. It takes less than 15 minutes to boil spiral noodles, heat the sauce, add tomato paste and you’re done. Such an easy weeknight meal, especially if you’re looking for a quick kid friendly dinner recipe.
Other ways to use the bruschetta are over sliced baguettes with balsamic drizzle (I’m drooling) or dipped with pita. Chefs kiss. It’s perfect for a party appetizer. Check it out and let me know what you think!
